From Vermeer Africa to Vermeer Italia: Sharing CEBO expertise on the road

Last week, Sales Engineer Marcel Bijleveld delivered a hands-on mud training in Italy in cooperation with Vermeer Italia.

The training took place at Vermeer Tirreno, a new service assistance center that strengthens Vermeer Italia’s support in the region, alongside the other service centers already operating in Italy (Trencher Service, Vermeer Sicilia and Vermeer Adriatico).

With 14 participants from different companies, the session combined theory and practice. Indoors, topics included bentonite and drilling fluid (mud), DCI measurements, and the correct setup of the mud system. The latest innovation in the Tunnel-Gel line, Tunnel-Gel Pro, was also explained in detail during the training. Outdoors, participants applied the knowledge directly by practicing with the machines.

Through trainings like these, CEBO supports customers in improving performance, stability, and control during drilling projects.
