CEBO introduces new logo!
In 2026, CEBO will celebrate its 50th anniversary. This milestone offers the perfect opportunity to reflect on our rich history while looking ahead to the future.
The current logo, rooted in our shared past with co-founder Cementbouw, has represented CEBO for decades. However, the iconic drilling rig no longer reflects all our activities or our position in a changing market.

Origins
Cebo was founded in IJmuiden in 1976 as a 50/50 joint venture between Cementbouw and Halliburton, building on the activities that Cementbouw had already initiated there in the early 1970s. The name CEBO was inspired by the co-founder, and the current logo also refers to this background. Since its foundation, CEBO has grown into an international specialist in industrial minerals, supplying products used across a wide range of sectors – from Civil Engineering to Agriculture, and from Offshore Oil & Gas to innovative Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD).
Chosen by employees
As part of the redesign, several logo concepts were presented to employees. This resulted in a well-considered choice: retaining recognizable elements while creating a logo ready for the future.
The renewed CEBO logo – a step forward
The new logo gives CEBO a fresh, powerful look, combining respect for the past with a contemporary outlook. The icon subtly references the original letters C and B. Its hexagonal shape and sharp lines symbolize the minerals that make our products unique, while the earthy tones connect to natural raw materials. The familiar drilling rig has been replaced with a more modern design, reflecting our broader and more diverse future. With this step, CEBO confidently moves forward while remaining proud of the foundation that brought us here.
Implementation
Starting November 1, the new logo will be introduced gradually. It will become increasingly visible at our IJmuiden site, in communications, and across all presentations of CEBO’s identity: reliability, expertise, and innovation – built on fifty years of history and with a clear focus on the future.
