This significant financial injection has allowed Cebo to acquire eight mobile silo tanks, fortifying its position in the renewable energy sector, specifically in wind farm construction.

The newly acquired silo tanks represent a significant expansion of Cebo's existing fleet, having already carved a niche in the industry by providing mobile silos on a rental basis. These tanks are predominantly used as a temporary storage solution for foundation grout during wind turbine jacket installation.

Cebo’s unique rental service allows clients to establish their temporary bulk plant at a quayside location of their choosing, providing enhanced logistical control and optimizing project efficiency.

The acquisition of these additional silo tanks not only addresses the current demands of the renewable energy sector, but also positions Cebo for increased operational flexibility and scalability in future projects. This strategic move aligns with Cebo's commitment to innovative and sustainable energy solutions.

Expressing gratitude for securing the grant, Cebo UK Manager Richard Forbes emphasized that the funding has played an "instrumental" role in advancing the company's energy transition strategy, and expanding its already impressive project portfolio, which includes notable contributions to Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm and the Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) Offshore Wind Farm.

The ETZ Challenge Fund, known for fostering innovation and supporting transition initiatives, plays a pivotal role in driving transformation within the energy sector. Cebo UK is proud to be among the select group of firms granted, propelling the company into a new era of excellence in windfarm construction.
